Eugene Mattie is a Land Developer and Home Builder with over 20 years of experience in real estate, construction and property management. These skills are combined with a solid engineering and financial background. Eugene is successful working on multiple projects simultaneously, effectively under pressure with a commitment to excellence. Eugene is a visionary with the ability to develop land, yielding it’s highest and best value. Nevertheless, he ensures that it is developed thoughtfully and with the utmost quality and care.

Experience

South Shore native and 3rd generation builder, Eugene has a degree in Civil and Highway Engineering from Wentworth Institute of Technology. Furthermore he holds a Business and Marketing degree from the University of Massachusetts.

Eugene has managed several engineering companies throughout his life. He has also managed a State Residential Housing program overseeing the construction and management of more than one hundred properties. As a former Director of Land Acquisition, Eugene has experience with a vast number of roles. These range from selecting construction sites, matching narrow firm criteria for development, negotiating all real estate acquisitions, obtaining all permits, to supervising the installation of roadways and utilities. His responsibilities included drafting initial subdivision designs, that were unique and yielded the highest sale figures in each community.

Some of Eugene’s projects include condominium developments located in Weymouth and Cambridge, and single family homes in Hingham. Recently, Mr. Mattie finished his development of Cowings Cove, South Shore’s premier “Lifestyle Neighborhood”. Currently, Eugene is building an exclusive 8-lot subdivision with custom homes, ranging from 2700 S.F. to 3700 S.F. in Norwell, Massachusetts less than 2 miles from exit 15 & the Derby Street Shops.

Eugene is licensed with an Unrestricted Construction Supervisor License and he is also a Certified Title V Inspector.
